BOX for SWIFTNet
Overview
A complete SWIFT Message Processing System

Rich Application Functionality
INTERCOPE BOX for SWIFTNet (BOX) is a complete SWIFT Message Processing System which facilitates the exchange of information between back office applications and SWIFTNet. BOX provides all the necessary (and often sophisticated) application functionality required for SWIFT message handling including:
- Complete SWIFT FIN message validation, including cross field validation
- Flexible and powerful performance-optimized message routing
- Full integration with back-office applications via IBM MQ, MERVA SDI and SDO, and emulation of the MERVA API and Web Services
- Customisable GUI for FIN and MX message processing.
Multi CBT Support
Currently BOX accesses the SWIFT Network through SWIFT certified CBTs such as SWIFT Alliance Access and IBM WBI-FN. A version of BOX scheduled for availability in Q4 2010 includes a FIN CBT and InterAct and FileAct services as an integral part of the product. This version allows direct connection to SWIFTNet via a Swift Alliance Gateway, without requiring any additional SWIFT connectivity solution. For those users who wish to retain connectivity to 3rd party CBTs, it is of course still possible to implement configurations where different LTs are served by different types of FIN CBT.
The ideal MERVA Replacement Solution
BOX has been explicitly designed to address all functionality provided by IBM’s MERVA (Message Entry and Routing with Interfaces to Various Applications), such as a user interface, manual message processing functions, and routing and printing services. It allows MERVA customers to migrate to a single integrated product based on the latest technology standards while keeping and extending the rich application functionality previously provided by MERVA.
