INTERCOPE, a leading provider of financial messaging solutions and an Associate Member of the European Banking Association, today announced it is part of the frontrunner service providers ready to support banks to implement the EBA CLEARING instant payment service. The listing of frontrunner service providers has been introduced by EBA CLEARING to help European financial institutions identify service providers that can assist early adopters connecting to EBA CLEARING’s pan-European real-time payment infrastructure.

In close cooperation with SIA, INTERCOPE currently extends its financial messaging solution BOX Messaging Hub to the specific requirements of instant payments and offers the participating institutions an integrated solution with highest reliability, availability, and performance. In addition, other network providers and standards such as SWIFT and EBICS can be supported on the same INTERCOPE BOX solution.

Several active BOX users are part of the funding members of the EBA CLEARING Instant Payment initiative and plan to use BOX as Messaging Intelligence for Instant Payments. In addition, several providers of Messaging Infrastructure, Payment Hubs and Payment Applications are in discussions with Intercope for using BOX Messaging Intelligence for their Instant Payments offerings.
